He won't make you sick: Jake Bugg

Pigeon went to The Great Escape in Brighton yesterday. If you're not familiar with The Great Escape it's a UK music event where lots of bands play in lots of venues across Brighton. If you're not familiar with Brighton it's a city on the coast which sells fish and chips and houses a lot of homosexuals.

Anyway, the highlight of the whole thing was this guy: Jake Bugg.

Sounding like a mix of Bob Dylan and Jamie T, and looking like Liam Gallagher before he got old, Jake is one of the most exciting artists we've seen for as long as we can remember.

He's young, confident without being cocky, has great songs, and, if he's marketed correctly, could sell to the Adele as well as the Oasis market.

He. Is. Brilliant.
