Cheryl Cole is not as unlike a brussel sprout as you might have imagined

It was not so long ago that we were poking fun and boo-hoo-hooing over how rubbish we thought Cheryl Cole's 'Fight For This Love' was. However, it also wasn't so long ago that we were tucking our tail between our legs, muttering it was actually quite incredible and listening to it on repeat for days on end.

And the same thing has happened with her '3 Words' track. At first we thought it was a load of lightweight tosh - but now we have grown to love it (hence the sprout reference above). It is fortunate for Cheryl's career that it doesn't take at least 20 years of annual exposure to have this effect.

'3 Words' crept into the Top 40 without an official single release due to the fact that it is A. the title of her album and B. the first song on said album. Curiousity didn't kill this kitten, it rocketed it into the Top 40, as people wanted a second song to work out whether 'Fight For This Love' was a one off. It wasn't. The new Cheryl Cole single (if that is what it is and the following is not just some visuals to go along with an accidental hit) is bloody brilliant and as for the video? Well, it certainly seems like Cheryl Cole is getting the A List treatment she deserves from her record label.

AHEAD LIES A VERY COSTLY VIDEO (but not at the expense of it being a decent watch - it is thoroughly amazing).

Guess she'll be stood in the middle when Girls Aloud get back together in the (increasingly distant) future.
