Pigeon overdoses on 'The Aspirins For My Children'

Sunday mornings usually begin with "urgh no", then "whoops", then "oh shit, it's 4pm already". Sometimes if you have been a bit wild and had too many Shandys the night before it might also involve an aspirin. Today it should involve 'The Aspirins For My Children'.

They certainly won't rid you of a hangover. They're more likely to induce something of a hand-flailing-dance-around-the-living-room. This is where Basement Jaxx's sense of having a good time whilst producing bouncy beats went.

We've flagged up the track 'Clean Apart' previously. It's got the ever wonderful Cocknbullkid doing the singing words in tune bit. If you didn't listen when she was floating it on her myspace you really should right now.



Then there's the small matter of 'Hollow Out', which is labelled as a demo, but blows most things floating into our ears at the moment out of the water. It's on its fifth play in a row this morning and we're a bit concerned our roast dinner is going to be a massive disappointment by comparison.

Sod the aspirin, we're ready to go out again. Just need to get the "whoops" out of the house first.
