While we wrote a quick thing about the new Blänk video 'I'm Going For Your Brother' a few days ago, I didn't actually really get across the message that this band are completely and almost unspeakably fucking brilliant. So let's try again.THIS BAND ARE COMPLETELY AND ALMOST UNSPEAKABLY FUCKING BRILLIANT.
The evidence to support this claim is thus:
'I'm Going For Your Brother'? Amazing.
'Shirt Off'? Amazing.
'The Pills'? Amazing.
And all remixes of the above? Amazing.
It's a really unusual mix of crystal clear Swedish electro/eurotrash and swaggering US hip-hop (with Young Ivy on two of the three tracks) but it works so completely - we are totally in love with this band. Blänk are Lina, Klas and Mats. They are amazing, that is all.
If you listen to the songs on their MySpace we guarantee you that your day will get infinitely better.
